Wii Fit + Nike+ + Eating Right = ????

+ + = ??????
With my new toy, I am going to go the month of June trying to do the following:
1) Use my wii fit (30 min x 5 days a week)
2) Run with the Portland fit group with my Nike+
3) Eat healthy as per my Nike weigh challenge diet.

What will that give us? Hopefully, lose 5 pounds so that the Wii Fit doesn't call me "Overweight" as it currently is. At the end of June, I will tell you how I did. :)

Sonia & Mike's Wedding

For Memorial Day, we travelled to California for Sonia and Mike's wedding. Kristen and I took two separate flights to Sacramento because I couldn't get the through the line quick enough to get to the gate. Southwest was very good to get me on the next flight. I just did some work and while Kristen ate breakfast, I flew to Sac.

The weather could have been better for the wedding. The ceremony was nice and quick. The reception was very nice. Martin Yan spoke at the beginning as well as a lion dance. The food was plentiful and very good. We were full at the 7th dish of 12. We sat next to Grandma Bea and Uncle Ed. Fun times. Made us think that it's going to be our 5th anniversary this year. Yikes! We also did get to see Indiana Jones and Steve went golfing.

Hope all had a great Memorial day weekend.

Portland Fit: Week 7 - 7 miles

Decided to run with the Vancouver Fit people this week. They gave us a rest this week with 7 miles, but next week is a whopping 10 miles. It was hot out there today, at least 85. We overheard that it was so hot yesterday in Portland, that a couple of Portland Fitters collapsed in head exhaustion. Remember to hydrate yourself when running.... always!

Portland Fit: 9 miles

Short blurb today on Portland Fit. 9 miles is the longest that I have done in a while. Did get two blisters that I am treating. Even though it was only 9 miles, it still was tough. Need to go back to losing more weight. Carrying the extra load longer distances it tough.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to All.

Jen took mom out to Todai today for lunch and got her some tulips and a CD. We also got mom some Mac lessons from the Apple store so she can be versed in the way of the mac. Kristen got a Mother's to be gift of a baby names book. We hope all had a great mother's day. Here's pictures of Jen and Mom.

Reno with Mom, and Al & Joleen

We spent the weekend with Mom, Al & Joleen in Reno this weekend. Diane joined us the first night and took the Lees and Kristen to her Jewelry studio to watch the show live. I stayed with mom and played penny slots. We played slots, keno, and pai gow, but no big winnings. Kristen liked the Star Wars penny game. It was fun. Just like a video game.
We ate too much food. Kristen and I are majorly cutting back on red meat. Just before our flight back, I also played the first round of a slot tournament with Mom, we didn't do too well, but it was all in good fun. We will have to do this again.
