Climbing up to the top of Mt. St. Helens

For my personal challenge for 2010, I decided to climb up Mt. St. Helens with a group of Nike employees. The thought that it was going to be a nice sunny day, but ended up a wet, windy, freezing day. It wasn't enough to stop the "Just Do It" Nike crew and we made it to the summit. A great hiking experience. Maybe next time I will see what the inside of the crater looks like, but at least I can check it off my list of things to do.

Compilation of Davis pictures from his classroom

This week, instead of showing slides of Davis' whole class, I compiled just the pictures of Davis on one slide. We're here to look at pictures of Davis, right? Davis had a better week and is feeling tons better than last week. He met his new teachers, Millie & Heather and likes the older (Toddler) kid toys to play with in his new classroom.

Portland Bridge Pedal

This weekend was the Portland Bridge Pedal. There 18,000 cyclists including first timers: Davis, Tina, and Mook-lan. Mook-lan & Tina did the 7 bridges and we took Davis on the 5 bridge ride. He had a great time. Post the ride, we had lunch at the Bite of Portland. The weather was a little overcast in the morning, but was great in the afternoon. Mooklan & Tina said they will be back next year for the event. Anyone else interested? :)

On his first trip out on the bike trailer, he fell asleep. We shall see how he does this weekend when we ride over the Portlan bridges. It's fun.
