Julie & Kurt visit Portland!

Julie and Kurt came up for a visit to the Rose City. We took them to our favorite spots. They also visited Kristen's work and came to visit Nike and the Nike employee store! It was great to spend time with them and look forward to when they come back to visit!

Olivia and Davis' Hawaiian Adventure

We are back from a great week in Hawaii. Spent 3 days in Oahu and 6 days in Maui. Grandpa Al and Grandma Joleen came along for the adventure. We enjoyed their company and help with the kids. The weather was great. Davis wore this ultimate choice of clothes: shorts and a t-shirt the whole time.We stayed on the Ko'Olina side of Oahu. It was very nice and relaxing. We got to spend time with Diane, David, and Auntie Li. Then we were off to Maui for a feeding frenzy and even more laid back trip.

Davis got to go to the pool once or twice a day, walk on the beach, ride in a submarine, eat shaved ice, do a bunch of craft activities, and bumped his head badly at the ticket counter on the way back. It was so swelled that we had the Honolulu Fire Department check him out before we got on the long flight back. He's fine. Just a "souvenir"  scar that will be on his forehead longer than the tans we got in Hawaii. Here's some of our fav picts. Go to the link below for the rest of the pictures.

Sunny day at the zoo.

Davis needed some alone time with mommy and daddy, so we took him to the zoo. Weather was great. We got to see the new baby elephant and the lions were out enjoying the weather as well. Great day!

Easter comes early this year!

We had our annual HOA easter egg hunt this weekend because Easter coincides with spring break and the person who gets in the bunny suit was not going to be in the area. Davis got his bucket full of eggs and we got a picture of the Easter Bunny. The weather was great. Happy Easter!

Welcome to Superforce!

Davis started last week in his new classroom with 5 of his buddies from Burt Bruin. The transition to Preschool has gone well. He's enjoying the new kids and the larger playground. :)

Burt Bruin Summer Party at the Wong

It took us 3 years before getting Davis' class together for a party that wasn't a birthday party. The festivities included Jeremy the Balloon Guy, swimming pool, bounce house, and fishing for prizes. By the way, it was the hottest day of the year, 100 degrees. Overall, a great time with friends and fun. Davis and his class are still talking about it. :)
