Davis started last week in his new classroom with 5 of his buddies from Burt Bruin. The transition to Preschool has gone well. He's enjoying the new kids and the larger playground. :)

Another year is passing and Davis is moving up to Preschool @ Nike. His teachers have been great to keep pictures of Davis and his classmates. All I can say is that he looks to have had a great year. Thanks Heather, Millie, and Maureen! Click on the link and enjoy!

Burt Bruin Summer Party at the Wong

It took us 3 years before getting Davis' class together for a party that wasn't a birthday party. The festivities included Jeremy the Balloon Guy, swimming pool, bounce house, and fishing for prizes. By the way, it was the hottest day of the year, 100 degrees. Overall, a great time with friends and fun. Davis and his class are still talking about it. :) 

Our Disney Vacation to Alaska

We are back from a week long cruise to Alaska! We took the 1st voyage of the Disney Wonder to Alaska from Seattle and had a great time. We sat with a couple, (Austin & Erin), and another family  (Antionette, Dennis, and Ben) with a 2 yr old boy, Ben. Davis' and Ben hit it off immediately and were best buds for the rest of the cruise.

We stopped off at Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, with a short stop off to Victoria, BC.  Kristen craved Asian food throughout out the trip so we had Thai in Skagway, Filipino in Juneau, and Chinese in Victoria. I picked up some Alaskan Amber beer in Juneau, home of our friend, Sarah Palin (See the pictures.) :)

Overall, the best parts of the trip were:
1. Meeting our new friends, the Yuens & Suggs
2. Traveling through the iceberg waters of Tracey Arms
3. Seeing the Disney Characters and the fantastice night shows (Toy Story & Disney Dreams)
4. Seeing the Avengers movie twice on the trip (Steve's Favorite).

We are a little overloaded with Disney right now, but would consider going on another Disney cruise in the future.  It may be a while, though. :)

Davis' Dance Party

For Davis' class art project, they did a dance video. Davis and the kids are good dancers for 3 yr olds. You never know, they may be future performers. :)

Happy Birthday Grandpa Gen

Today is Dad's birthday. Jen and Mom are going to the mountain. We miss him. Happy Birthday Dad!

Snow in Spring?

It has been a crazy season! We thought Spring was going to bring more sun, but it also brought Rain, Hail, and Snow! Here's some pictures of the snow last week.

Gung Hay Fat Choy - Year of the Dragon

Happy New Year! The Wongs and Lees got together for a dim sum lunch to celebrate the upcoming year. Davis had his fill of sticky rice, chicken feet, and shiu mai. :) We wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous new year!

Christmas 2011 - 5 Family Events in 3 days and we're tired. :)

Hi all,
We hope you all had a great Christmas. We did. Lots of travelling so Davis could experience Christmas at it's fullest. It was filled with a bunch of firsts this year. Steve carved his first turkey, dressed up as Santa, and built his first outdoor Christmas decoration (Rudolph & Hermey). Kristen made her first pillow cases for Kyle, Zoe, and Allison. Davis got to sit on Santa's lap as well as enjoy the experience of unwrapping presents. We wish you all the best and a happy 2012!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Two Thanksgiving dinners, Davis' second birthday with Mom & Jen, Zoe's 4th birthday, the Sacramento Zoo, and Fairy tale land, all in one long weekend. Davis. It was more fun than any Black Friday sale! Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

Davis' 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Davis' 3rd birthday at the Plumper Pumpkin Farm with his classmates and friends this weekend. The sun was shining, Grandpa Al & Grandma Jo came up to visit, lots to do at the pumpkin patch, and his classmates were there to celebrate his birthday. Davis had a great time. Happy 3rd birthday, Davis!
