Gung Hay Fat Choy! Year of the Ox.

Gung Hay Fat Choy! We hope you had a great year of the Rat we did with Davis. Now, it's the year of the Ox. We wish you a great Lunar New Year!

If you are traditional for the new year or want to start the new year off strong, here's some reminders of Chinese folklore...

If you haven't already done so by New Year's Eve, clean up your house to do away with all misfortune of the previous year. "Good Fortune favours a clean house" . Also, pay off your debts to be cleared of shame and misfortune.

On Monday, New Years Day, be sure to wear new clothes ("Good clothes opens new doors), Choose Red (for joy and luck) than Black (unlucky), No foul language or unlucky words, and no sharp objects (to not "cut the thread of good fortune") .

Happy New Year!

Davis Stylin' it out,

Davis is growing so fast, we have to put him in a new outfit everyday so he doesn't outgrow the clothes before he gets a chance to wear them. He is on a serious growth spurt. :)

Davis meets his Washington cousins and he's smiling

Davis got a chance to visit with the Iglowitz's last weekend. He was happy to meet Chenin, Mooklan, Tina, and Jerry while the weather was good and not flooding. Now, the road to Tacoma is closed.

Another big event in the Wong house is Davis smiling. He's showing more character and emotions. Fun times.
We have a warning for our readers, we are proud parents and the blog will be splattered with Davis pictures. If there's other news to post, tell us. Consider yourselves warned. :)

One Month, 4 pounds and 2 inches... Davis Wong

Happy New Year to all you. Here's an update on Davis. We have survived the first month tired, but healthy and happy. Davis has made it through the key winter holidays, the Artic Storm, and several poop "blowouts" not only unscathed, but bigger, stronger, and better.

Here's some recent pictures:
